Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information UNISON IPTV Player ("UNISON", "we", "us") collects when you use the app and this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
1. Who we are, and what UNISON is
UNISON is a media player application for Android devices. It is software only. UNISON does not provide IPTV subscriptions, does not host or rebroadcast content, does not supply playlists or channels, and does not sell access to any television service. You connect a compatible third-party IPTV or Xtream service that you have obtained yourself, and UNISON displays it.

2. Information we collect
2.1 Account information
When you create a UNISON account we collect the information needed to create and secure it, such as your email address and authentication credentials, together with basic account metadata such as when the account was created. Our account and data services are provided using Supabase, which stores this information on our behalf.
2.2 Your IPTV / Xtream connection details
To display your own service, UNISON needs the connection details your provider issued you: a server address, a username and a password. These are stored so the app can reconnect without you re-entering them, and are held securely for your use in providing the service to you.
We do not sell, share or publish these details, and we do not use them to access your service for any purpose other than showing it to you in the app. UNISON support will never ask you to send your IPTV username, password or full server URL by email.
2.3 App preferences and library data
Information such as your favourites, recently watched items and in-app settings is associated with your UNISON account so that it is available on the devices you sign in on. This is what makes one account work across your screens.
2.4 Purchases and entitlements
UNISON is purchased through Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Google processes the payment. We use RevenueCat to validate and manage purchase entitlements, which means RevenueCat processes purchase and entitlement identifiers associated with your installation and account so the app knows whether your lifetime access is active.
2.5 Diagnostics and technical information
Where diagnostics are collected, they cover technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version and error or crash details. This is used to find and fix faults. We do not use diagnostics to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell any of it.
2.6 Support communications
If you email support, we hold that correspondence and whatever you choose to include in it so we can help you and keep a record of the issue. Please do not include your IPTV credentials.
2.7 This website
This website is a static site. It does not require an account, does not ask you for personal information, and does not run advertising trackers. Standard server-side request logging may occur at our hosting provider for security and reliability purposes. If we ever add analytics, this policy will be updated before it goes live.
3. Why we use this information
- To create, secure and operate your UNISON account.
- To connect the app to the third-party service you have chosen, at your instruction.
- To keep your favourites, recently watched items and settings available across your devices.
- To verify your purchase and unlock lifetime access.
- To diagnose faults, fix bugs and improve stability.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To meet our legal obligations and to prevent abuse of the service.
Our lawful bases are, broadly: performing the contract with you (operating the app and your account), our legitimate interests (security, fault diagnosis, preventing misuse), and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
4. Third parties we rely on
We use a small number of providers to run the service. They process data on our instructions:
- Supabase: account, authentication and application data storage.
- Google Play: app distribution and payment processing.
- RevenueCat: purchase validation and entitlement management.
- Our website host: serving this website.
Your own IPTV provider is not one of our processors. It is an independent third party you have chosen. When the app connects to it at your instruction, that provider may see connection information such as your IP address, under its own terms and privacy policy. We have no control over and no responsibility for that.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the providers listed above so they can perform their function, or where we are legally required to disclose it.
6. International transfers
The providers listed above may process data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
7. Retention
We keep account information for as long as your UNISON account exists. Connection details are kept while the connected service remains configured in your account, and are removed when you remove the service or delete your account. Diagnostic information is kept only as long as it is useful for fault diagnosis. Support correspondence is kept for a reasonable period so we can handle follow-up questions. Records we are legally required to retain, such as those relating to purchases, are kept for the period required by law.
8. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the data we hold, including encrypted transport, access controls on our systems and secure storage of credentials. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously and we design for it.
You also play a part: use a strong, unique password for your UNISON account, and never share your IPTV credentials with anyone, including anyone claiming to be us.
9. Children
UNISON is not directed at children and is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Deleting your account
You can request deletion of your UNISON account and its associated data at any time, either from within the app where that option is available, or by emailing unisoniptv.support@gmail.com from the address registered to the account with the subject "Account deletion request". Full details are on the support page.
Deleting your UNISON account does not cancel your third-party IPTV service, and does not automatically refund a Google Play purchase.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email unisoniptv.support@gmail.com and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app develops or as the law requires. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version, and material changes will be brought to your attention in the app where appropriate.
